1. What This Website Is

This private reference site operates independently from government. It does not store official criminal records, obtain official checks, retrieve records on demand, or submit filings for a user.

Its content points to Hudson County police and corrections offices, New Jersey courts, the New Jersey State Police State Bureau of Identification, and the New Jersey Sex Offender Internet Registry. Local executive-record access is governed by the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.; dissemination of NJSP criminal history is limited under N.J.S.A. 53:1-20.6 and N.J.A.C. 13:59. Some pages also connect to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use site content or a linked tool to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate against another person. New Jersey law places specific limits on use of New Jersey Sex Offender Internet Registry information, and misuse can lead to criminal penalties. Registry data supports public safety awareness, never vigilantism or prohibited discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

Any check for a regulated purpose must come from an authorized, FCRA-compliant provider or the proper official New Jersey channel.
